Bathroom renovation underway! 🫧 We’re an efficient team so we’ll wrap this beautiful bathroom up in about 4 weeks — that includes knocking out the shower wall for a bigger shower, replacing the window over the tub, installing a new soaking tub, building a custom double vanity and makeup vanity, all new plumbing and electrical, and all new finishes. We often use renderings to help our clients visualize their new space layout and plan a cohesive design. Renderings help get our team and our clients on the same page and super excited! 🥳 It always looks worse (demo phase) before it looks better. This full bath was right next to our client’s kitchen, and the shower went unused. Along with their full kitchen remodel, we worked out the best option to optimize this bathroom was to remove the shower and wall off the spacious room to create two more practical spaces - a large storage closet on one side and this beautifully updated half bath on the other. We extended the roofline and screened-in a portion of the deck to provide a comfortable seating area. The washer and dryer were once stacked in a large connecting room of this home with tons of wasted space. We repurposed that room by demoing a wall and creating a larger dining room. The laundry was then moved to what was once a large walk-in closet destined for more!! The washer and dryer now sit side-by-side with a butcher block folding counter. We’ve added several floating shelves for ample storage. Our clients couldn’t fit an island in their original kitchen and needed more storage. We were able to knock out several walls to give them a more open space which helped accommodate the new island. We solved for storage by adding additional upper cabinets and storage within the island. We were grateful to work with this sweet family to provide an additional living and play space by converting an open porch into a 3-season room! Unlike sunrooms, a 3-Season room is enclosed with glass, but does not have insulation or HVAC. The windows have an integrated screen system and help protect from rain, wind, sun and insects. These rooms tend to stay more comfortable throughout the year, with a space heater being useful during the cold winter months and ceiling fans during the hot days of summer.
